Home service sales conferences are scattered across a dozen trade calendars, each run by a different association, manufacturer or organiser. A solar setter, a pest route manager and a roofing owner can all spend the year at events and never be in the same building. This calendar puts the 2026–27 season for six door-to-door trades in one place.
Most of the events below are product shows or association meetings. A smaller number are built around the people who sell. Both have their place, and the table notes which is which.

Three Kinds of Home Service Event
Before choosing what to attend, it helps to know what each type of event is for. They are not interchangeable, even when the trade is the same.
- Product and trade shows, such as the International Roofing Expo, RE+, Intersolar and the International Builders’ Show, are built around manufacturers and the products they sell. They are where an owner or buyer compares equipment and materials.
- Association and owner events, such as PestWorld, the MRCA Conference and Bug Bux Con, centre on running the business: education, peer networking and industry issues, usually aimed at owners and managers.
- Sales-team events are rarer. They are built for the reps, managers and owners who win the customer at the door or in the home. RoofCON includes sales reps in its audience, and D2DCon is built entirely around door-to-door selling.
What the Calendar Says About Each Trade
Solar
Solar’s big gatherings, RE+ and Intersolar, are technology and industry shows. They cover the products and policy that shape the market, which matters more than usual after the residential tax credit ended in 2025. Neither is built specifically around residential sales teams.
Roofing
Roofing has the busiest calendar of any trade here, with RoofCON and MRCA in November and the International Roofing Expo in February. The February timing matters because it lands before spring hail season in much of the country.
Pest
Pest control bookends the season: PestWorld in October and Bug Bux Con in late February, with a January sales event in between for teams planning their summer.
Fiber
Fiber Connect in June is the industry’s main conference, built around network operators and deployment. Fiber sales teams have few events of their own anywhere else on the calendar.
Lighting and windows
Residential lighting is served mostly by the Christmas Expo and by manufacturers’ own dealer meetings, while windows sit inside broader building shows such as the International Builders’ Show. Both trades are new to having a dedicated sales event.
Where D2DCon 10 Fits
D2DCon 10 runs on January 28–30, 2027 in Sandy, Utah, with Owners Day and the D2D Games on the 28th and the main days on the 29th and 30th. Inside it, the Home Service Experience gives each trade its own room or track: Solar XP, Roofing XP, Fiber XP, Pest XP, Lighting XP and the new Windows XP.
The January slot is deliberate. It sits after the autumn association shows and before the February product shows, at the point when most door-to-door teams are planning the year ahead.
Choosing Events by Role
- Reps and setters usually get the most from sales-focused events, where the sessions are about the work they do every day.
- Sales managers often pair one sales event with one trade show, to see both the selling side and the products their teams represent.
- Owners tend to split time between association meetings, product shows and owner programmes such as D2DCon’s Owners Day.
- Vendors follow their buyers: product shows for manufacturers’ customers, sales events for companies selling to field teams.
Frequently Asked Questions
What are the main home service sales conferences in 2027?
For door-to-door sales teams, D2DCon 10 in January is the event built around selling across trades. Trade-specific events include RoofCON for roofing, Bug Bux Con and PestWorld for pest control, and Fiber Connect for fiber, alongside product shows such as the International Roofing Expo and RE+.
Are there sales conferences for each home service trade?
Some trades have them and some do not. Roofing and pest have several owner and association events, while fiber, lighting and windows have few events of any kind built for their sales teams.
When do home service sales teams usually plan their events budget?
Many teams plan in late autumn or January, before the spring and summer selling seasons. That is why the winter months carry so many of the year’s bigger events.
